A WITCH HUNT OR REFORM?
By Frank P Ebikefe
Servants to the people, whether in the National Assembly or civil service, should prioritize the needs of their constituents. It’s hypocritical for lawmakers to travel abroad for minor health issues while expecting civil servants to rely solely on struggling public healthcare facilities in Nigeria.
It’s striking that many NASS members send their children to study abroad and aren’t hesitant to travel for their kids’ milestones, yet they expect civil servants to keep their wards in local schools.
Is this about reforming our education and healthcare systems or unfairly targeting civil servants?
