Determining the most performing minister in Nigeria can be subjective, as it depends on individual perspectives and priorities. However, based on recent news and developments, Minister of Works, David Umahi, has been making strides in infrastructure development.

Some notable achievements under Minister Umahi’s leadership include:
1. – Infrastructure Progress: The Abuja-Kaduna-Minna dual carriageway project is 86.33% complete, with notable progress on the Suleja-Minna Road project.
2. – Transparency and Accountability: Umahi has emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in project execution, ensuring that contractors are held responsible for their work.
3. – Capacity Building: The Ministry of Works has organized training for engineers to address capacity gaps and ensure sustainable infrastructure development.

In contrast, Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has also been working on various projects, including road constructions in Abuja. He expressed confidence in utilizing the budget effectively and awaiting National Assembly approval for the 2025 budget.

To conclusively determine the most performing minister, it’s essential to consider various factors, including:
1. – Project Completion Rates: Evaluating the percentage of projects completed within budget and timeline.
2. – Impact on Citizens: Assessing the positive impact of ministerial initiatives on the lives of Nigerians.
3. – Transparency and Accountability: Considering the level of transparency and accountability demonstrated by each minister.

Without more comprehensive data, it’s challenging to definitively declare Wike or any other minister as the most performing.
