As much as I want Nnamdi Kanu released in a hurry and I’m really not in support of him still being in detention under a democratic government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, we should not sweep due process under the carpet or outrightly accuse Mr. President as the reason why for the unnecessary lengthen detention!
The judiciary is supposedly an independent arm of Government and if their procedures has freed Kanu and the security apparatus are not following court orders to release Nnamdi, we shouldn’t misplace our protest or attempt to play politics of 2027 with Nnamdi Kanu.
Nevertheless, if protest will call culprits to their responsibility and free Nnamdi Kanu, so be it!
