The phrase “Nigeria Why?” conveys a sense of frustration, disappointment, and concern about the country’s challenges and unmet potential. It’s a poignant expression that highlights the need for patriotic Nigerians to work towards positive change and development. Let’s hope that collective efforts will address the country’s issues and make such a question unnecessary.

Given Favour Ofili’s reported frustration with the Nigerian Athletics Federation, it’s likely she might have asked “Nigeria Why?” considering her experiences. According to reports, Ofili’s decision to switch allegiance to Turkey stems from alleged neglect and administrative lapses by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) and the Nigerian Olympic Committee (NOC). Specifically, she reportedly missed out on the Tokyo 2020 Olympics due to unconfirmed doping control tests and was left out of the 100m event at the Paris Olympics because of a registration error.
