CAN WE GET ANOTHER EDEN ON EARTH šŸŒŽ?

by frank ebikefe

In my minds eye, I’m referencing to the biblical account of Eden, the Garden of Paradise, before humanity’s fall. In that context, Eden was characterized by:

1. – Harmony with nature: Perfect coexistence between humans, animals, and the environment.
2. – Absence of suffering: No pain, no sorrow, no death.
3. – Direct connection with God: Unbroken fellowship and communication between God and humanity.
4. – Peace and tranquility: A state of serenity, free from conflict and fear.

If we were to imagine a similar scenario in a modern context, it might look like:

1. – Environmental balance: Sustainable practices, no pollution, and thriving ecosystems.
2. – Social harmony: Equality, justice, and peaceful coexistence among people.
3. – Personal fulfillment: Everyone’s basic needs met, with opportunities for growth and happiness.
4. – Spiritual connection: A sense of unity and purpose, with a deeper understanding of oneself and the world.

My aspects of Eden’s description resonates with harmony. Harmony with nature is a beautiful concept. It implies a balance between human activities and the natural world, where we coexist peacefully with the environment and respect the interconnectedness of all living things.

Some key aspects of harmony with nature include:

1. – Sustainable practices: Living in a way that minimizes harm to the environment and conserves natural resources for future generations.
2. – Environmental stewardship: Taking care of the land, water, air, and all living creatures, recognizing our responsibility to protect and preserve the natural world.
3. – Respect for biodiversity: Appreciating the value of different species, ecosystems, and habitats, and working to preserve and protect them.

Achieving harmony with nature requires a holistic approach, considering the long-term consequences of our actions and striving to live in balance with the natural world.

What do you think is the most important step we can take to achieve harmony with nature?
