Football pitches along the road in Morocco, a mirage in Nigeria!

We’re quick to blame the inabilities of the coach, his crew and the 11men on the pitch of play, but never the FG and state Government’s who do practically nothing to improve football facilities in the country and their respective states like what Morocco has done, providing playing pitch for football lovers to have access to improve their skills!

Only Lagos State has come close to something like what Morocco has done, football pitches here and there, under flyovers and neighbourhoods! Build skills, keep youth’s busy and fight crime/drugs while at it!

If we must be the footballing Nation we so desire as a Nation with a passion after the roubd leather game, we must invest in football facilities from LGA’s, to nooks and crannies of state’s, then the FG must get it right with our National stadium and football management, before counting on the player’s who are business men with a time limit before bowing out of the stage for up coming player’s we have refused to build!
